We are glad to partner with Go Campaign’s NYC partner, Harlem Grown, founded by Tony Hillery. Armed by a desire to address the lack of resources and poor nutrition in Harlem, Tony took over an abandoned community garden and with 100s of students, he was able to grow over 200 pounds of produce in the garden’s first year. Now Harlem Grown serves over 1,500 youth per year and operates two urban farms, gardens producing over 2,000 pounds of fresh vegetables ever year. Soupure supports Harlem Grown in its very successful efforts at bringing fresh, wholesome food and recipes to its community.
